Glen Grant is one of the major Speyside distilleries, producing a light and elegant style of single malt that has made it the best-selling Scotch whisky in Italy. The distillery's Victorian garden, created by Major James Grant in the 1880s, is a rare and beautiful addition to any visit – a woodland walk with a hidden whisky safe built into the rock where the Major would chill a dram for guests.

History

Brothers John and James Grant founded Glen Grant in 1840, making it one of the original Speyside distilleries. Major James Grant, who took over in 1872, was a noted Victorian innovator and explorer who introduced electricity to the distillery and created the ornamental garden. Glen Grant is now owned by Campari Group.
