Glenfiddich is the world's best-selling single malt Scotch whisky and one of the most visited distilleries in Scotland. Set in Dufftown – the malt whisky capital of the world – the distillery has been owned by the same family for over a century. The visitor centre offers a range of tours from introductory tastings to in-depth cask experiences.
History
William Grant built the distillery by hand with his seven sons and two daughters and produced his first spirit on Christmas Day 1887. Glenfiddich was the first Highland distillery to open its doors to visitors in 1969, and it remains family-owned by William Grant & Sons to this day.
