Bookings and payments
Payment terms
- All bookings require payment in advance at the time of booking.
- A deposit of 30% secures the date unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Day tours and transfers must be paid 24 hours before departure.
- Multi-day tours must be paid 30 days before departure.
- Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment.
- Corporate account terms must be agreed in writing.
Cancellations
Cancellation policy
We recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation costs. If a booking is cancelled by the client, the following fees apply:
- More than 30 days before departure: deposit retained.
- 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total booking value.
- 7 to 14 days before departure: 75% of the total booking value.
- Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the total booking value.
If you booked through a third party, cancellations must be handled directly with the third party.
Weather and force majeure
Weather and safety
Weather in the Highlands can change quickly. We reserve the right to cancel or alter services due to adverse weather or safety concerns. If cancellation is necessary, we will offer rebooking where possible.
Delays and extra time
Additional hour charges
If delayed or detoured due to road closures, accidents, weather, flight delays, guest delays, or external disruption, additional time is charged as follows:
- Luxury Saloon / MPV: £75 + VAT per additional hour per vehicle.
- SUV / S Class: £80 + VAT per additional hour per vehicle.
Driver overnight costs
Overnight accommodation
- Driver overnight accommodation: £150 + VAT per night.
- We reserve the right to charge higher rates for last minute bookings or high-demand areas.
Safety
Guest safety and conduct
- Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
- Guests must follow driver-guide and chauffeur instructions.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if safety is compromised.
- Alcohol must be consumed responsibly and may be restricted if unsafe.

VAT and tips
VAT and gratuities
- VAT is charged at the prevailing rate.
- Tips and gratuities are not included.
Damage and cleaning
Vehicle condition
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all vehicles.
- Excessive mess, spillages, or sickness will incur cleaning fees.
- Cleaning fees start at £150 + VAT and may increase for specialist cleaning.
- Damage to vehicle interiors will be charged at cost of repair or replacement.
Child seats
Child seat policy
Child seats are available on request and subject to notice and availability. Please share ages and requirements when booking.
Itinerary changes
Route flexibility
- Opening times and availability can affect stops and activities.
- Traffic, weather, and local conditions may require route adjustments.
- We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes.
Liability
Liability limitations
- Travel insurance is required to cover cancellation costs.
- Third party bookings must be cancelled through the third party.
- We are not liable for third party closures or schedule changes.
- We are not liable for missed flights caused by factors outside our control.
- Clients are responsible for personal belongings.
Photography
Photos and marketing
We may take photos of scenery or vehicles for marketing purposes. We do not photograph clients without their consent.
Governing law
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom.
