About the course
The course is built through the Menie Estate dunes — some of the tallest and most spectacular in Scotland. Holes plunge through valleys between towering sand hills, climb to elevated tees with panoramic North Sea views, and run along the beach with the surf as soundtrack. At over 7,400 yards from the championship tees, it is one of the longest links in Scotland, but the multiple tee positions make it playable for all levels.
The conditioning is immaculate year-round — the greens are fast and true, the fairways firm, and the bunkers are deep and well-placed. The clubhouse sits above the course with views along the Aberdeenshire coast. Whatever your view of the politics, the golf course itself has earned genuine respect from links purists for the quality of the design and the dramatic beauty of the setting.
The drive from Aberdeen
Trump International is around 25 minutes from central Aberdeen and 30 minutes from Aberdeen Airport, heading north along the coast road through Balmedie.
