About the course
Murcar shares the same stretch of duneland as Royal Aberdeen but has a wilder, more natural character. The fairways wind through tall dunes with the North Sea visible from elevated tees and greens throughout the round. The course is well over 6,500 yards from the medal tees, with deep pot bunkers, undulating greens, and the kind of firm, fast links turf that rewards golfers who keep the ball on the ground.
Despite its proximity to Royal Aberdeen, Murcar receives a fraction of the visitors. Tee times are easier to secure, the green fee is more accessible, and the course condition is consistently excellent. The drive from Aberdeen
Murcar Links is just 15 minutes from central Aberdeen and 20 minutes from Aberdeen Airport. The drive follows the coast road north through Bridge of Don and past the beach. Your driver will collect you from your hotel or the airport and have you at the club in plenty of time. After your round, Royal Aberdeen is five minutes south, or we can take you north to Trump International or Cruden Bay.
