Luxury chauffeur transfers to Grantown-on-Spey from Inverness and across Scotland. Speyside parkland course, 35 minutes from Inverness.

Grantown-on-Spey Golf Club is a peaceful heathland course at the gateway to Speyside, designed by Willie Park Jr in 1890 and later revised by James Braid. Set among heather, birch and pine above the River Spey, it is one of the most tranquil golfing experiences in the Highlands. We provide private golf transfers to Grantown-on-Spey from Inverness, Aviemore, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scottish airports.

About the course

The course runs through mature woodland and open moorland with views across to the Cromdale Hills and the Cairngorm plateau beyond. At around 5,700 yards it is not long, but the heathland turf is fast, the greens are well-shaped, and the birch-framed fairways demand thoughtful placement rather than raw distance. In autumn, the surrounding woodland turns gold and copper — one of the most scenic times to play.

Grantown is the kind of course that rewards a second visit. The subtleties of the ground, the run of the ball through heather, and the quiet of the surrounding Speyside landscape make it a memorable part of any Highland golf tour. The clubhouse is welcoming and unpretentious.
