Castle Stuart Golf Links is Scotland's highest-rated modern links — a Mark Parsinen design that opened in 2009 and immediately entered the world's top 100. Sitting on the shore of the Moray Firth just 10 minutes from Inverness, with views across to Fort George, Ben Wyvis, and the Black Isle, it is the jewel of Highland golf. We provide private golf transfers to Castle Stuart from Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scottish airports.
About the course
Castle Stuart was built on links land overlooking the Moray Firth, with each hole offering uninterrupted views across the water to the mountains beyond. The course hosted the Scottish Open four times between 2011 and 2013, with Rory McIlroy among its champions. The routing is modern and strategic — wide fairways funnel into well-defended greens, the bunkering rewards bold play, and the conditioning is immaculate from tee to green.
At around 7,000 yards from the back tees, Castle Stuart is a genuine championship test, but the variety of tee positions makes it accessible and enjoyable for all levels. The combination of links turf, coastal scenery, and mountain backdrop creates a playing experience unlike anywhere else in Scotland. The clubhouse is contemporary and elegant, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the Firth and the hills.

Your driver will collect you from your hotel, the airport, or the railway station and have you at the club within minutes. After your round, Nairn is 20 minutes east and Royal Dornoch is an hour north — Castle Stuart is the perfect starting point for a Highland links tour.
