The route from Aberdeen Airport to Gleneagles takes the A90 south through Dundee, crossing the Tay Road Bridge into Fife, then picking up the M90 motorway south past Perth. You leave the M90 at junction 10 for the A9 southbound, and Gleneagles is signed from the A9 just north of Auchterarder. Nearly the entire journey is dual carriageway or motorway, making it one of the more straightforward estate transfers from Aberdeen.
The stretch between Dundee and Perth runs through the Carse of Gowrie, flat farmland between the Sidlaw Hills and the Tay estuary. South of Perth the A9 climbs gently through Strathearn, and the Gleneagles estate entrance appears on the left about two miles before Auchterarder. The hotel driveway is about half a mile long, lined with mature trees. There is a staffed arrival point where porters take luggage immediately.

- Can we stop in St Andrews on the way?
- St Andrews is a short detour off the A90 between Dundee and the Tay Bridge. We can build in a 30- to 60-minute stop to see the Old Course, the town, and the cathedral ruins. This adds roughly 40 minutes to total journey time.
- Do you drop off at the hotel entrance or a car park?
- We pull up directly at the main entrance porte-cochere, where the Gleneagles porters meet you. There is no need for you to handle luggage or navigate car parks.
- Can you collect us from Gleneagles for a return to Aberdeen Airport?
