From Inverness Airport we take the A82 south-west towards Loch Ness. The road passes through Dochgarroch and follows the Caledonian Canal before reaching the northern shore of the loch. We continue along the A82 on the western side of Loch Ness, with the water on our left and wooded hillside on the right.
Great Glen Estate is accessed via a turning off the A82 between Dochgarroch and Drumnadrochit. The private drive leads down to the lochside, where the castle and cottages sit with direct waterfront positions. The full journey from the airport is about 35 minutes, all on good A-road until the final estate drive.

The A82 can be busy in summer between Inverness and Drumnadrochit, but this stretch is before the main congestion points.
