Culloden House is a Georgian mansion with a history stretching back to the Jacobite era. Bonnie Prince Charlie is said to have used the house as his headquarters before the Battle of Culloden in 1746. Today it operates as a 28-room country house hotel with formal gardens, a dining room serving Scottish produce, and a genuine sense of place. Culloden Battlefield and the NTS visitor centre are five minutes away, and Inverness city centre is a 10-minute drive.
